2-Step Program

Permitted Activities During Challenge (2-Step)

What you may and may not do while completing Phase 1 and Phase 2 on MT5 in the simulated environment.

Generally permitted

  • Discretionary trading on available FXVoro instruments via MT5.
  • Hedging and multiple symbols, within risk limits.
  • Varying lot sizes freely — there is no lot-consistency requirement.
  • Taking as few or as many trading days as you need (no minimum day count to pass).
  • Holding positions overnight during the week, subject to symbol conditions and risk.
Evaluation vs live

Some live-stage conduct rules (notably the 3-minute minimum hold and pair-layering enforcement) are designed for live accounts. Always follow the specific challenge terms shown in your dashboard; when in doubt, trade as if live conduct already applies.

Restricted or prohibited

  • Exploiting platform errors, latency abuse, or toxic flow intended to game simulation fills.
  • Account sharing, credential sharing, or unauthorized third-party operation.
  • Any strategy that intentionally targets data feed or execution artifacts rather than genuine market risk.
  • Violating symbol, leverage, or product restrictions communicated for your account.

FXVoro may review trades for integrity. Accounts that show clear exploitation patterns can be failed or voided even if a profit target was nominally reached.

Expert Advisors during challenge

Automated or semi-automated tools may be used only if they do not violate integrity, risk, or product policies. High-risk HFT-style or latency-arbitrage behavior is not welcome. See the Live Stage automated-trading article for the standards that carry into funded simulation.
