Default: weekend window blocked
Unless you purchased the Weekend Holding / Trading add-on, live-stage accounts must not hold positions through the weekend restricted window: Friday 5:00 PM through Sunday 5:00 PM (broker server time).
- Close risk before the Friday 5:00 PM broker-time cutoff.
- Do not open positions intended to span the blocked window.
- Sunday after 5:00 PM broker time, normal weekday holding resumes (subject to other rules).
Broker time, not your local clock
Always use the MT5 broker/server clock. Local daylight-saving shifts can make “your” 5 PM wrong.
Unlocking weekend holding
The Weekend Holding / Trading add-on (+20% of the discounted challenge fee) unlocks the ability to hold and trade through that weekend window on live stage. See Add-Ons → Weekend Holding Pass for purchase timing and scope.
Weekend gap risk
Even with the add-on, weekend gaps and Sunday reopen spreads can move equity quickly against the 4% daily / 10% overall limits. The add-on unlocks holding — it does not remove risk.
