Maximum two positions per pair
On live stage, you may hold at most two concurrent positions in the same instrument pair (for example, two EURUSD positions). Attempting to open a third concurrent position on that pair violates the layering rule.
- “Pair” means the symbol/instrument as listed on the platform (e.g., EURUSD).
- Long and short both count toward the two-position cap on that pair.
- Positions on different pairs do not share the same counter.
- There is no post-close cooldown. Once you have fewer than two open positions on a pair, you may open again on that pair immediately.
Layering illustration
- EURUSD #1 open, EURUSD #2 open → at the cap.
- Opening EURUSD #3 while both remain open → breach.
- Close one EURUSD → you may open a new EURUSD right away (back under the cap).
- GBPUSD can still be traded while EURUSD is at its two-position cap (separate pair).
