Generally permitted
- Discretionary trading on available instruments via MT5 in the simulated environment.
- Flexible position sizing — no lot-consistency rule.
- Varying lot sizes freely — there is no lot-consistency requirement.
- Any number of trading days (including very few) as long as risk limits hold.
- Weekday overnight holding subject to symbol conditions and risk.
Some live-stage conduct rules (notably the 3-minute minimum hold and pair-layering enforcement) are designed for live accounts. Always follow the specific challenge terms shown in your dashboard; when in doubt, trade as if live conduct already applies.
Restricted or prohibited
- Exploiting feed, latency, or platform artifacts.
- Sharing login credentials or outsourcing the account without authorization.
- Any pattern that seeks risk-free simulation edge rather than market risk.
- Toxicity patterns, quote stuffing, or clear integrity abuse.
FXVoro may review trades for integrity. Accounts that show clear exploitation patterns can be failed or voided even if a profit target was nominally reached.
Live stage adds the 3-minute minimum hold, pair-layering limits, and default weekend block. Build habits now that will still be legal after you pass.
Expert Advisors during challenge
EAs are acceptable in principle when they take genuine market risk and do not exploit simulation mechanics. You remain responsible for every automated trade. Live-stage hold time and layering will bind the same EA after you pass — configure for that reality early.
