The 4% daily ceiling
On any trading day, Instant equity must not decline by 4% or more against the day’s loss window. Hitting the daily limit is a hard breach — the Instant account ends.
| Limit | Instant |
|---|---|
| Daily loss | 4% of account size |
| Includes floating P/L | Yes |
| Breach type | Hard fail |
Open positions mark against the daily limit. A trade that is “almost” at your stop can still breach daily loss if equity crosses the line first.
How the daily window works
- Daily loss is measured against the program’s defined day window (broker/server calendar), not your local timezone.
- Both closed and open (floating) P/L count toward the 4% ceiling.
- Reset of the daily window does not reset overall loss — overall is a separate 8% floor from starting baseline.
- Daily loss ceiling ≈ $2,000 of adverse equity for that day.
- A news spike that drops equity $2,000 intraday can end the account even if you planned a wider stop.
- You can still be above the 8% overall floor and fail the day on daily alone.
Independent of overall loss
You can breach daily loss while still above the 8% overall floor. Both limits are enforced separately. Staying inside risk is required for withdrawal eligibility to remain meaningful.
Drawdown limits are separate from payout caps. The 5% per-cycle profit withdrawal cap and reward split are covered in the Withdrawals collection.
